The first site I would recommend is called, ‘Teachers Pay Teachers’ (tpt). This site is used for, and by, teachers to sell materials they create. The great thing about tpt-it is free to start and you can upload your materials immediately.
Not sure what type of materials to create? Here are a few examples:
- Worksheets
- Workbooks
- Signs
- Posters
- Cutouts
- Journals
- Social stories
- Coloring pages
The tpt site is used by anyone looking for materials to help teach students such as teachers, parents, homeschoolers, Sunday schools, Scouts groups…the list continues as far as the imagination will allow.

Another option for making some extra cash on the side, is the site called, Amazon. I’m pretty confident you’ve heard of it.

The basic principle is to recommend an item on Amazon, and when someone buys it from your link, you get paid. Pretty simple.
This is an especially great way to make money for people who are skilled in the area of sales. The more you sell, the more money you make. I enjoy reading Bloggers, TikTokers, Influencers and shared posts about items I plan to buy-it provides the ‘personal touch’ which makes a huge difference!
Lastly, another Amazon entity called, Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), allows you upload and sell books, journals, and other written entities you have authored.
The great part of Amazon, is that it also has an authors’ page which you use to promote yourself and your books. There is space for you to write a profile, show all your authored materials, and a place to write a blog.
This not only allows people searching Amazon for a book, but also allows a reader to find all your books within one area. Especially helpful for people without their own blogs or a small group of followers.
Whether you are brand new to the digital world or an experienced techie, with so many choices for you to start creating and selling items, there is no reason for you to not start making money immediately.
Spend some time on the sites mentioned, watch a few videos on how to get started and you, too, can add a few dollars to your bank account.
